The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Expansion and Renovation Project added a 13-story, 462-guestroom tower built atop an existing 5-story parking garage and renovated the existing 800-guestroom tower. At the time of its completion, the hotel had risen to become Chicago's fourth-largest hotel. The project was completed in less than 18 months, all while the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place and McCormick Place Convention Center maintained their everyday business activities.

Marriott McCormick

The 1.2 million-square-foot, 1,205-guestroom hotel helped revitalize Chicago’s South Side while fulfilling McCormick Place's vision of maintaining the title of America's largest convention center. The 40-floor glass tower boasts numerous amenities, including 250,000sf of meeting space, an indoor/outdoor lobby, street-level restaurants, a green roof, and an outdoor terrace. Air-conditioned pedestrian bridges connect the hotel to the convention and Wintrust Arena.

In 2009, the Hyatt Regency Chicago, the world's largest Hyatt, property boasting a staggering 2,019
guestrooms embarked on an ambitious renovation project divided into three phases. The first
phase, which unfolded in 2010, was a remarkable feat of efficiency. This initial stage zeroed in on the
west tower renovation, breathing new life into 962 guestrooms and 63 luxurious suites. The
undertaking was executed with remarkable speed, adhering to an aggressive 90-day schedule. This
renovation marked the commencement of a transformational journey for the Hyatt Regency
Chicago, setting the standard for the subsequent phases and ultimately rejuvenating the entire hotel
to offer guests an unparalleled experience.

Waldorf Astoria

Few hotels, if any, have been able to hold court like the 60-story Waldorf Astoria in Chicago. Travel
outlets have consistently ranked the Waldorf among the top five hotels in the U.S. Under new
ownership with Laurence Geller, the Waldorf Astoria Chicago underwent a $22 million renovation in
2016. Among the changes, 26 suites were divided and converted to guestrooms (increasing the hotel
room count to 215), the spa was refreshed, a restaurant was added, and the courtyard was
transformed into a piazza with outdoor seating.

Embassy Suites

The Embassy Suites Lombard underwent a complete renovation of the 232 guestrooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, back-of-house areas, restaurant and kitchen, and exterior site work. Project management services included procuring all prime owner contracts for capital improvements, including AHU replacement, roofing repairs, emergency generator replacement, and facade restoration and repairs.

PUBLIC Chicago

PUBLIC Chicago was originally built in 1926 but the 250,000sf property was entirely renovated by Ian Schrager in 2010. Located in the Gold Coast neighborhood, the hotel has 285 guest rooms and public spaces on the first and second floors, including the iconic Pump Room restaurant which received a
total transformation. The hotel remained open for guests throughout the renovation.

Palmer House

The historic 1927 Palmer House underwent a multi-year renovation, including exterior upgrades, meeting room updates, ballroom restoration, a new kitchen, new restaurants and bars, a penthouse remodel, and renovations to more than 900 guest rooms. The massive renovation project encompassed 1,800,000 square feet of hotel and retail space.
